Introduction to Improving Intelligence

If there is anything that makes humans stand out among all the animals, it is our intelligence. Our intellect is unmatched by any other creature on this Earth. We are unique.

Our intelligence has allowed us to communicate in far more complex ways than any other creature can…

  • We can talk and listen
  • We can read and write

These four things have allowed us to communicate and share our knowledge with each other. And this sharing of knowledge has lead to such things as…

  • The computer
  • Skyscrapers
  • The Internet
  • Postal Service
  • Books
  • Paintings
  • Monuments
  • Dams
  • Bridges
  • Journeys into space
  • Mobile phones
  • Television and radio
  • Toys
  • Computer games
  • Cinema
  • Poetry
  • Theatre
  • Photography
  • Vaccines
  • Aeroplanes
  • Ships
  • Currency
  • Heart bypasses
  • Brain surgery
  • ...
  • ...

I could go on

While part of the aim of this site is to help improve IQ test scores and help you get better exam results, my motivation extends much further.

I've heard many people say that intelligence is overrated and it is good common sense and the ability to function within the world that is important. I agree that common sense is more important than intelligence, but I also have a strong belief in the power of intelligence. A combination of intelligence and wisdom will, I believe, produce the most effective human beings.

Human beings capable of achieving great things.

  • Curing cancer and other deadly afflictions
  • Ending poverty
  • Creating peace on Earth

These are all ideals, but I am not an idealist. A strong will and desire alone won't solve these problems. Intelligence and wisdom have the best chance. And if there is a chance I feel it is important to try.

This website is about trying. It is about using the most of what we have.

Many people take up the passion of improving their physical fitness. For many they don't really know what it is going to lead to. They may get into fitness in order to get a six pack, but end up with more energy, more confidence, more happiness and a higher life expectancy.

Many people who begin a fitness routine do it thinking that they will sacrifice some time, in order to look and feel better. They are then surprised to find that investing half an hour a day in a fitness routine, actually gives them more time. They find themselves achieving more because they have more energy, more confidence, have less accidents and illnesses, need less sleep, and, let us not forget that they live longer!

The same sort of rewards may well be a side effect of improving your intelligence!

  • Less studying time
  • Less revision time
  • Faster problem solving
  • More productive decisions
  • Work faster
  • Less mistakes

If you want to be the best you can be; if you want to unleash all your brain can offer; and if you are willing to train in order to get it - this website is for you...

Good luck and enjoy the site
